Welcome to the DUNE 150 Home Page Stock DUNE 150 MODS! Mods, continued Last of the mods to the mighty 150! Transmission Pics of MY Dune!!! The PICS of some TRIPS!!! My Photos What's Next? NEBA

These make a huge difference!!!

As of August, 2008, my modifications are these:

A10 cam, 32mm carb, 30mm billet intake, 30mm billet riser, 145 main jet, K&N filter, Dr. Pulley 9g rollers, Dr. Pulley HiT Clutch, Dr. Pulley Clutch Drum, MRP racing variator, gutted muffler, HP ignition coil, HP CDI, and an iridium spark plug.

The items that I feel made the biggest bang for the buck are hands down, the intake riser and the carb combo...  The buggy has limitless potential, whether it be hill climbing or speeding along, it just keeps getting better with little tweaks!!!

Billet Riser

I am currently researching the idea of mass producing the riser I now use on my buggy.  It is a fantastic design, and took my buggy to the next level!!!  I would like to find the original creator and work out ho it was designed, and give credit where credit is due!!!

 Anyone???  lol

What's next???

As per mods, I am pretty much limited to what is left to do on the DOOM 150.

The only things left unchanged to date are the internal bottom end, being the crank and rod, the piston and the "jug."

THe head can be milled to boost compression, but I feel that would only yield small gains for my buggy as I already have plenty of fuel and air into the engine.  I would bet the biggest bang for the buck left to do ont he DOOM would be the 180cc big bore kit, and a stroker crankshaft.  Those are really big possibilities in the future, but currently, not on the docket!
